Allington Castle Archers is an open club and is one of the longest-established clubs in the south-east. The club was formed in 1969 and was based at Allington Castle. It has a large active membership covering all the bow types available recurve, compound, longbow and barebow.
The club focuses mainly on target archery but some members go to field shoots that are held around the country. There are several senior and county coaches among the membership helping fellow archers develop their skills. There is a wealth of experience in the club and numbers are expanding - archers new to the area and beginners are welcome to enquire about membership.
We shoot outdoors all year round on weekends, and on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the summer, on the days when we are able to book the venue, we also shoot indoors during the winter months.

Our Beginner's course now completed, welcome to our new members. We start the outdoor season again as Mid Kent League pure score champions and look forward to defending this title. Our Summer Tournaments this year (Sir Thomas Wyatt and White Friars) will be held at Allington Community Association's ground in Castle Road, Allington - a new location for us and actually quite close to our spiritual home.
